part i -

the youngest of the group

have you ever been on a group tour? me neither. i wouldn’t have gone if my mom didn’t suggest it. or if i wasn’t experiencing information overload. i had no expectations. i booked blindly with my friend’s help — and that was that. my mom drove me to the airport, and i was off. when i walked into the my introduction session of the travel group, i immediately realized i was the youngest by a long shot. and that’s how my trip was kicked off.

i saw some of the most amazing architecture i had ever seen. it’s not something i would have just done with out being prompted too. and i know i would have never tried a group tour because i had this preconceived notion that i was above it. because i knew europe already, or because it would be slow paced. but actually, i found myself eating my own words, and i’m glad i did this.

locations by order of photos: toledo, córdoba, granada, sevilla

the adventure continued as i solo tripped in france and germany, and met up with one of my best friends, martín, in norway.
